My Love for Traveling
Traveling is just one of those things that bring me intense feelings of joy and happiness. I’m always excited to go on an adventure. From the moment I think of where to go, I’m overwhelmed with enthusiasm. Searching for where to stay, where to explore, it’s all an adventure before I’m even on the plane. Exploring a new place is such a great experience. Allowing yourself to learn new things is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. I loved working in a library reading books about travel that sent me into another world.
It starts with the willingness to let go of any fears and to put yourself in a position to use your senses to understand and process what you see, what you feel, what you smell, what you touch and taste.
Everyone has different ideas of what traveling is. I speak of only what I enjoy, but there is no judgement to anyone. I like to travel with others and solo. Traveling solo is my favorite, but there are others that I love traveling with. My partner is someone that I adore traveling with. We like to totally immerse ourselves and leave with as much knowledge as we can.
I particularly enjoy enjoy luxury hotel traveling. From my previous job of working with my Aunt, I developed a love for searching of the best places to stay. I was able to learn about all parts of the hotel. I needed to know the security team to team up with our own security to know the exits and the ins and outs of secret entries and exists of hotels for security reasons. Sometimes we would need to place large orders of foods, and I would speak with the Chef’s and they would be delighted to make us their special dishes and show off their expertise. Sometimes we would need about 15-20 rooms to check-into and I loved speaking with the front desk agents and staff who would always make sure we were well accommodated. There are so many more experiences but these are just a few highlights. The chance to share these moments with my family and dear friends will always be pictures and moments I will never forget.
My experience for traveling is one that I wish to share with everyone. It’s how I want to connect with the world. Some of you I have met only on Instagram and yet with your love of traveling, you have traveled to come meet me. I believe everyone should find time in your life to travel. I’m going to be showcasing and highlighting places that I love, feeding you stories, and giving reviews. I want to travel to the best hotels in the world and take you with me by creating curated stories for each hotel. I want you to feel as if you are there with me. I’ll share photos, videos and give you inside scoops on how the hotel functions. I’ll also be working on making trips and creating memories that we will remember for the rest of our lives. I’m so excited to take you all on this journey with me.
